South Wing - Lower Level
The lower level features two dorm-style bedrooms (Maatsch, Shalla) with adjoining bathrooms, as well as a laundry room, and shared kitchen area.
The Maatsch Room
The Maatsch Room is donated by Dean Maatsch in loving memory of Elmer Maatsch and Rose Duis Maatsch. This room is in the lower level of Odell’s Rice Lodge south wing. It is on the north side. The Maatsch Room has an adjoining private bath room. The room is painted in green and beige. There are 2 entry/exits for the south wing. One on the north parking lot, which does involve a staircase and one to the south for street parking and entry which has no steps involved. The Maatsch family photos are on display in the Maatsch Room.

The Shalla Room
The Shalla room is sponsored by many Shalla Family members. If you are related to a Shalla, then you can be a part of this room. The Shalla Room is in the lower level of Odell’s Rice Lodge south wing. It is on the south side. The Shalla Room has an adjoining private bath room. The room is painted in dark beige and light beige. There are 2 entry/exits for the south wing. One on the north parking lot, which does involve a staircase and one to the south for street parking and entry which has no steps involved.

Bures Laundry Room
The south wing also has a laundry room which is proudly sponsored by the children of Alvin & Verla Bures. They are Terry Bures, Sondra (Bures) Klover, Brenda (Bures) Thanel, Randy Bures and Lori (Bures) Stohs. The Bures family grew up on a farm northwest of Odell. Alvin was a farmer all his life and Verla was famous for her chickens. She raised and dressed chickens for other families for many years.
The washer and dryer were donated by Marilyn Antons.
